It's a tuffy - equivalent to a marathon apparently.
C/D 27 Feb or earlier if full.
Mmmm, thinking   ;)

I'm going to focus on some long hilly runs, and try and get some weight off!

David Cook, Eran Agate and I did a recce of the course this morning (Sat 7th Jan).  Did 2 laps on the bike followed by a lap on our legs.  Hard course that needs a few more visits as you won't find a hill to emulate Zig Zag.  Beautiful but cold morning too and we must of seen 200 other cyclists but no runners there.

'like'!
Great training there, but olympic course has increased the amount of cyclists.  Let me know next time you're going Jim (not next week, I'm on a training camp - yippee!!) :P

Next training trip to Box Hill is Friday 13th meeting at 9am in the National Trust car park.  2 x bike and 1 x run planned.
Then Monday 16th same place/time.
The plan is to ride at a good clip but not race pace.  If you feel frisky, you can go hard up Zig Zag and wait at the top.  Same for the run.
All welcome even if you are not doing BallBuster - it is a great training session.
Jim

Another training visit to Box Hill smashed out!  2 x bike (7.8 miles per lap) and 1 x run lap.  Was joined by Jamie Stentaford.  Next trip Monday 16th.
